Our Programs
Reading is Fun 2 Mental: This program is a book club and the youth is responsible for reading one book per month. Parents are responsible for meeting with their child to discuss the book and his/her progress weekly.
Report Cards: Members are financially rewarded for good grades in school. Members will receive $10 for every A and $5 for every B on his/her report card throughout the school year (not including summer school).
Healthy Hair: This program aims at improving the self-image of female youth as well as the male participants. The program will inform youth about what it takes to have, maintain, and sustain healthy hair for people of color. Additionally, the program aims to dispel the myth that one’s beauty is determined by his/her hair.
